A few weeks ago I was approached by a customer who asked me if I had seen a surge in sales of our Vintage Genuine Leather Watch Strap... I was intrigued and asked why?
The reason - because another of our customers had just mentioned the strap in one of his YouTube videos saying how delighted he was with it. What I learnt afterwards was that a lot of his subscribers had also been asking about it.
Which strap, you may ask? This one...
So I reached out to John (firstly to say thanks!) and then to find out a little more about who he was and what he did.
John is the creator of YouTube channel "John's Watch Joint". You can find a link to his channel here - John's Watch Joint. On his channel John gives his opinion about a variety of watches and gives his super honest review. In his own words his "reviews are fun and informative but most importantly they are fair".
Immediately knowing that somebody who was as honest as John with his reviews was so positive about his watch strap purchase from us, I knew I had to find out more.
I reached out to John and in the subsequent video chat that we had, we spoke about our mutual love of watches, his channel and my business. It was clear that we both thought it would be great if John would do a review of our watch straps.
John and I picked out a few of The Thrifty Gentleman watch straps to review and once he had received them, John started working on his YouTube video.
